KARACHI, July 14: The University of Karachi on Monday notified that second and third professional MBBS, supplementary examinations, 2003, would start from July 22 and 24, respectively.
Candidates have been directed to collect their admit cards and programmes from their respective colleges.
Meanwhile the KU notified that examination forms and fees of Final Prof MBBS, Supplementary Examinations 2003, would be accepted up to July 25. Examination fee is Rs1,550, while Sports fee is Rs50.
EXAMS: The KU has notified on Monday, that the students of BEd, MEd (Morning/Evening) Annual Examination 2003, who have not submitted their examination forms and fees, are allowed to submit the same at their respective colleges, with a late fee of Rs500 upto July 19.
Prescribed examination fee (Including marks certificate etc.) is Rs1,200 for BEd and Rs1,500 for MEd.
SEMESTER: The Karachi University reopened after summer vacations and started its second semester on Monday.
KU Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Saeid Saify, accompanied by President KUTS visited all departments and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and facilities, including the shuttle service.
Second semester will end in November, 2003, and examinations will start from Nov 15.—PPI
