KARACHI, July 13: Ninety-one vehicles — 30 cars and 61 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different localities in the metropolis, during the past one week.

According to police statistics, 18 cars were taken away at gunpoint and 12 others stolen in Gulistan-i-Johar, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Saddar, Clifton, North Nazimabad etc.

Eighteen motorbikes were hijacked and 43 others stolen in different areas.

City police claimed the recovery of 23 cars and 29 motorbikes during the last one week.
