SWABI, July 13: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has granted Rs6 million under the head of renovation of the Mardan and Swabi divisions, Dawn has learnt.

Official sources said the Pesco finance director had sanctioned the amount.

A letter (No. 1641-45), the sources said, was received by the Pesco officials on Wednesday with an advice to use the amount keeping in mind the needs of their respective areas.

The sources said the amount would be divided between the Mardan and Swabi divisions— Rs1.8 million each had been allocated for Mardan-I and Mardan-II divisions while Rs1.2 million each had been granted to Swabi-I and Swabi-II divisions.
