KARACHI, July 12: Vinod Ramesh and Adnan Ahmed made telling contributions as Govt Islamia Arts and Commerce College entered the quarterfinals of the inter-collegiate cricket tournament at Bakhtiyari Youth Centre Ground ‘A’ here on Saturday.

Slow left-armer Adnan captured five for 35 and Vinod, the leg-spinner, chipped in with three for 28 as Al-Noor College were shot out for 83 in 20.3 overs.

Islamia Arts and Commerce raced to a 10-wicket victory in just 11.4 overs with Vinod hitting 50, containing five boundaries, and Adnan 25.
