GUJRANWALA, July 12: An anti-terrorism court chargesheeted two men for attacking a church in Chianwali, Sialkot, and issued notices to the prosecution and witnesses here on Saturday.
Both the accused, Qari Afzal and Mehmood Ahmad, who were present in the courtroom, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court adjourned the case till July 22.
Four people were killed and 20 other sustained injuries in the attack on Chianwali church on Christmas. The accused were arrested by Sitrah police.
DEMO: People took out a procession in Wazirabad against the Quetta incident.
The procession was taken out from an imambargah and culminated at the railway station.
Demanding early arrest of the culprits, the speakers said that the incident had not been motivated by sectarianism, and was an act of terrorism carried out by Indian agents.
