Shaheed Benazirabad made division

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah granted the status of division to Shaheed Benazirabad district in a meeting attended by former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Mithiani town, 15km from here, on Saturday.

The former president along with the chief minister reached Mithiani town on an invitation by taulka president of PPP and chairman district development committee Mumtaz Ali Chandio.

The chief minister declared Shaheed Benazirabad a division with three districts — Sanghar, Naushahro Feroze and Shaheed Benazirabad.

The former president on the demand of party leaders and workers of the area advised the chief minister to increase the development budget of the district equivalent to the budget of Shaheed Benazirabad district.
