PESHAWAR, July 10: The Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) has made strenuous efforts during the last year to improve its performance, succeeding in reducing line losses from 1.5 per cent to 0.3 per cent.
This was stated by chief executive of Pesco Brig Tahir Saeed Malik while briefing newsmen about the performance of the company during the year 2002-03 here on Wednesday.
The company’s main focus was on redressing public grievances against excessive billing, theft and load management, he said
Giving details about the achievements of Pesco in the year 2002-03, he said line loss of the company had been reduced to 0.3 per cent from 1.5 per cent, saving Rs31.5 million.—APP
