KARACHI: Three die in accidents

KARACHI, July 9: A cyclist was knocked to death by a vehicle in Shah Latif town on Wednesday.

Police said Ghazi Khan, 28, an employee of a textile mills, was on way to work near Cattle Colony when the incident occurred.

The victim was taken to JPMC where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

An elderly woman died in a road accident late on Tuesday night near Cantonment Station.

Police said Maqsooda Jabeen, 60, was going on a motorcycle, with her relative, when an unknown vehicle hit them.

The lady was shifted to the JPMC where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

A young man died when an unknown vehicle knocked him down in Malir.

Police said Ali Akbar, 35, was crossing the National Highway near Nehal Hospital when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.

The victim was taken to JPMC where he was pronounced dead.
