MIRPURKHAS, July 8: Frequent power failures, lasting between five and eight hours, on Tuesday made the lives of the people miserable in Mirpurkhas district.

At least a dozen transformers burnt down in different sub-divisions of Hesco, Mirpurkhas, suspending the power supply to various parts of the city.

DEMO: The people held protest demonstrations against Hesco in Jhuddo, Umerkot, and Samaro against the power breakdowns. They demanded of Hesco to restore the power supply.
