Iqbal Qasim to head DCMC

LAHORE, July 7: Pakistan Cricket Board has formed District Cricket  Monitoring Committee (DCMC) and Local  District  Cricket Monitoring  Committee (LDCMC) to supervise the  district  cricket activities.

PCB  chief executive Ramiz Raja said that former Test slow left-armer Iqbal Qasim has been named as chairman of the DCMC.  The new  committee will work on the pattern of the previous  Domestic Tournament  Monitoring Committee (DTMC). Sultan Rana is the  lone member  of  the  committee. Saqib Irfan  had  been  appointed  as secretary while Agha Zahid and Samiul Hasan would act as co-opted members, he said.

Similarly,  the  board  also appointed  one-man  LDCMC  which includes Mansoor Ahmed Khan (Quetta region), Ishaq Patel (Karachi region), Abdul Wahid Rashid (Hyderabad region), Humayun  Muzammil (Multan),  Intikhab  Ahmed  (Lahore),  Sarmad  Bhatti  (Sialkot), Arshad  Pervez  (Faisalabad), Ashraf  Qureshi  (Rawalpindi)  and Maazullah Khan (Peshawar).
