LAHORE, July 7: Pakistan Under-19 team will tour Sri Lanka  from  Aug 10 to 30 to play three one-day matches, one two-day match and two three-day encounters.

According to the schedule, announced by  Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan will play first one-day match at P. Sara  Stadium on Aug 25, the second at NCC Ground on Aug 27 and the third at R. Premdasa Stadium on Aug 29.

Pakistan have a busy programme for juniors and ‘A’ teams in the forthcoming season.

An Academy Emerging Trophy was to be played in Sri Lanka from Aug 15 to 22 but had been postponed at Pakistan’s request to Sept 13 to 21.

An under-17 tournament is scheduled to be held in India  in Dec and Jan.

The participating teams are Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan ‘A’ will also tour India in December  to play in an Asian competition.

The ICC World Cup for Under-19 will be played in Bangladesh from Feb 8 to March 8 with the same format adopted in the senior World Cup in southern Africa.

England under-19 team would also tour Pakistan from Jan 9 to Feb 17 to play two four-day matches and five one-day games.

Pakistan U-19 schedule in Sri Lanka:

Aug 10: Arrival in Colombo.

Aug 11: Practice at Police Park.

Aug 12-13: Practice match against Sri Lanka Under-17.

Aug 14: Practice at SSC Ground.

Aug 15-17: v Sri Lanka Under-19 at SSC Ground.

Aug 18-19: Practice at SSC Ground.

Aug  20-22: v Sri Lanka Under-19 at NCC Ground.

Aug 23: Practice at P. Sara Stadium.

Aug 24: Practice at P. Sara Stadium

Aug 25: 1st one-dayer at P. Sara Stadium.

Aug 26: Practice.

Aug 27: 2nd one-dayer at NCC Ground.

Aug 28: Practice at R. Premadasa Stadium.

Aug 29: 3rd one-dayer at R Premadasa Stadium.

Aug 30: Depart for Pakistan.
