KASUR, July 6: Two persons were killed and five others, including three children, received burn wounds on Sunday in a gas cylinder blast in an ice factory at Imambargah Chowk, Khuddian.
Mistri Rafique was working in the factory when the cylinder exploded as a result of which he died instantly while Zubeda Bibi, her three children and Ramzan and Riazuddin suffered burn wounds.
They were shifted to the General Hospital, Lahore, in critical condition where Zubeda Bibi died.
The condition of Imran (9) and Arsalan (7) was stated to be critical while Shoaib Ali (11), Ramzan and Riazuddin were in stable condition.
Khuddian police are looking into the matter.
