KARACHI, July 5: Zone-III Whites created history on Friday by amassing record 320 for eight in their one-sided Touchme Trophy KCCA inter-zonal under-17 cricket tournament fixture against Zone-V Greens at Student Ground here on Friday.

Zone-V Greens, in their turn, were bundled out for 86 in 25.5 overs to lose the match by a crushing margin of 234 runs.

Batting first, Zone-III Whites owed their massive total in the allotted 50 overs to Irfan Qureshi (56 with seven fours), Imran Bashir (51 with five fours), Mohammad Nizam (48 with three fours) and Osaf Rabbani (44 with six fours).

Off-spinner Mohammad Nasir toiled hard to capture five for 97.

When Zone-V Greens batted, slow left-armer Jahanzeb Lodhi picked up five for 20.

In another match, played at Asifabad Sports Complex, Zone-VII Blues scored a 23-run victory over Zone-I Blues.

Off-spinner Raza-ul-Hasan claimed took five for 20 for the winners.

The only Zone-I Blues batsman to offer any resistance was Raheel-ur-Rehman who struck six boundaries in making 52.
