ISLAMABAD, July 5: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali visited on Saturday the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta to inquire about the condition of those injured in the Friday mosque attack.
The prime minister, along with Balochistan Governor Abdul Qadir Baloch, visited various wards of the hospital and directed the medical staff to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
He assured the injured that the culprits would be dealt with an iron hand and no effort would be spared to punish them.
Earlier, addressing a briefing, Mr Jamali said all measures would be taken to protect people. He directed the law enforcement agencies to spare no effort to eliminate the terrorists in the country.
The Namaz-i-Janaza of those who died in the Friday attack was offered in Quetta on Saturday. Curfew continues to be imposed there to meet any untoward situation. It was, however, relaxed from 1.00pm to 6.00pm for the convenience of the people.—APP

Dawn learnt on good authority on Saturday that the government would pay Rs800,000 to the heirs of each of the dead person and the injured would get Rs400,000 each.
