QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party (Mengal) has demanded of the government to arrest people involved in the killing of Abdul Karim Mengal, the bodyguard of Sardar Akhtar Mengal. He was murdered four days ago in Wadh.

Addressing a protest rally in front of the Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday Agha Hasan Baloch, Jamil Baloch and Ghulam Nabi Marri alleged that the government had failed to arrest the killers of the bodyguard.

They said that the government on one hand was making big claims of having improved the law and order situation, but on other no one could deny the fact that the government was unable to curb lawlessness in the province, particularly in the Khuzdar district.

They claimed that the government could neither stop the killing of BNP workers nor dumping of bodies, target killing and cases of kidnappings for ransom across the province.
