KARACHI, July 4: The Senior Citizens Council Karachi has welcomed the directive issued by the prime minister to the foreign ministry for making arrangements for issuance of Indian visas from Karachi.
The steering committee of the council urged the foreign minister to implement the decision soon. They said that a lot of Pakistanis having blood relations in India were anxiously waiting for restoration of ties between the two countries.
They also appealed to the president to take another bold decision and announce opening of the Indian consulate at Karachi.—APP
