KARACHI, July 4: Bank Al Habib Limited has announced four per cent and 3.5pc return on ordinary saving deposits and saving deposits — monthly profit plan, respectively, for the six months ended on June 30, 2003.

The bank has announced the following fixed term rates of return: one-month 3pc; three months 3.25 pc; six months 3.5pc; one-year 3.75pc; two years 4pc; three years 4.25pc; four years 4.5pc and five years 4.75pc.

Under its Mahana Amdani (monthly income) scheme, the bank has announced 3.5pc return on one year; 3.75pc on two years; 4pc on three years; 4.25pc on four years and 4.5pc on five years.

KASB BANK: The KASB Bank has announced six per cent return on saving accounts effective from June 1, 2003. In fixed term deposits the bank has announced 3.5pc on one month deposits; 4pc on three months; 4.25pc on six months; 4.5pc on one year; 5pc on two years; 5.5pc on three years; 6pc on four years and 6.5pc on five years.

Under mahana munafa scheme, the bank has announced 5pc return on 3 year deposits; 5.5pc on four years and 6pc on five years.
