Karachi Port operations

KARACHI, June 30: The Karachi Port on Monday handled 31,172 tons cargo— 11,054 export and 20,118 import. Among export cargo wheat and sugar were 992 tons and 871 tons respectively, while general cargo was 9,191 tons. Import cargo included 8609 tons general and 4296 tons fertilizer, says a KPT press release.

Seven ships Pu He, Australia Bridge, Anangel, Maryia Ann, Sima Bahar, APL Cairo and Pearl of Jeddah were due to arrive at outer anchorage.

Six ships BD Saturn, Essberger Pilot, Ponl Malindi, Islamabad Kota Waris and Iwato were due to sail out while five ships Kota Teraju, Bunga Mas Empat, Orient Stride, Jolonn and Pandora P were sailed.

Four ships Bunga Mas Empat,Iwato, Badula Valley and Essberger Pilot unloaded cargo during the last 24 hours.
