KARACHI, June 28: Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has underlined the need for the availability of research material and books about medical sciences at libraries.

He was speaking at the 31st annual meeting of Medical Libraries Association of Pakistan (MELAP) at the Institute of Behavioral Sciences on Saturday.

He said that students approach libraries for research materials to pursue higher studies in their fields, but they could not find research journals.

Earlier, the vice-chancellor of Karachi University, Dr Zafar Saeed Saify also spoke.—APP
