Teachers’ shortage

Published June 28, 2003

CHITRAL, June 27: Government girls college Chitral is badly affected by the shortage of teaching staff and lack of hostel facility.

Out of the 35 sanctioned posts in the college only three have been filled while the rest are lying vacant.

Science students appear in the intermediate examination without being taught. The people of Chitral had great expectations from the MMA government but it too failed to deliver.

The girl students of upper and lower Chitral and Garam Chashma valley either discontinue their studies or go to colleges of down districts with hostel facilities.
