KARACHI, June 26: The culture and tourism department of the Sindh government gave away Mehran Cultural Awards 2003 on Wednesday night.

The awards were given to Jamiluddin Aali, Syed Murtaza Dadahi, Mohsin Bhopali, Ustad Seenghar Ali Saleem, Ajmal Dehlavi, Abdul Qadir Junejo, Rauf Siddiqui, Ali Ahmed Brohi, Taj Baloch, Gulnar Afreen, Khawaja Rafique Anjum, Baidil Masroor, Khursheed Anwar Umrohi, Mushtaq Changazi, Hyder Umrohi, Ustad Abid Hussain, Mustafa Azizabadi, Naz Saihto, Nighat Mirza Hina, Ustad Rajab Ali Raza, Khursheed Iqbal Hyder, Late Mohammad Khan Majeedi, Rasheed Jamal, Sajid Wastro, Bint-i-Nazeer, Qasim Ali Raza, Munzer Ayubi, Hameed Bhutto, Arshad Mehmood, Late Mohammad Ibrahim, Prof Laiq Thebo, Arshad Hussain, Late Mohammad Jumman, Aaqil Brailvi, Ustad Shafi Faqeer, H. Iqbal, Mitha Khan Zardari, Iftikhar Haider Rindhwa, Javed Kazmi, Khalid Umer, Farooq Abidi and Zarina Baloch.
