LAHORE, June 25: India, the qualifiers of the World Cup  polo tournament Asian zone qualifying round to be held in Lahore from Nov 30 to Dec 10, has not confirmed its participation to Pakistan.

“We  are still awaiting a written confirmation from India” secretary Lahore Polo Club Irfan Ali Hyder said on Wednesday.

Irfan said that Pakistan as the host and India as last time host of the qualifying round had automatically qualified for the competition. The remaining teams from Asia would be decided after holding competitions in different regions of Asia in the month of July.
