LAHORE, June 25: The NBP-Punjab Inter-district hockey championship revived after a lapse  of 18 years when its preliminary round will be held at four different centres from July 1 to 6.

In all, 35 teams of the 34 districts of Punjab will play the preliminary round at the four centres which are Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan, Narowal and Khanpur.

President Punjab Hockey Association (PHA) Khawaja Zarar Kaleem while  addressing at a press conference here on Wednesday said that Vehari had included two teams, therefore, the total number of the teams had been increased to 35.
