KARACHI, June 23: Turkish Prime Minister, Tayyip Erdogan presented a shield to Chairman Pakistan-Turkey Business Council, Amjad Rafi last week, at a dinner hosted jointly by the FPCCI and finance minister, on his outstanding service in promoting bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to a press release, Amjad Rafi said that Turkish PM had proposed that Turkey and Pakistan would hold PM level meetings every year followed by exchange of large trade delegations.

President FPCCI, Riaz Tata will lead a trade delegation to Turkey in September next year that would follow single country exhibition in Turkey, he said.

He identified construction, food products, textile, telecom, defence related products and airport management as main areas of interest for joint ventures in Pakistan by the Turkish investors.
