21 arrested in pre-dawn raid

PESHAWAR, June 21: Police arrested six alleged hardened criminals and 15 proclaimed offenders, and recovered a large quantity of arms, hashish, fake currency notes from their possession in a pre-dawn operation in Badhber locality on Saturday.

Police said the operation, launched in the wee hours of Satur-day at Telum Band and Mashugagar villages on the outskirts of Peshawar, continued till 9am.

Six criminals wanted in murder, attempt murder, kidnapping for ransom and robbery cases were rounded up. Fifteen proclaimed offenders were also arrested during the operation.— Bureau
