Hunza in grip of cold

HUNZA, Dec 14: Following snowfall in central and upper Hunza on Friday, the region is under a spell of dry cold climate that has been compounded by shortage of fuel and food supplies.

Due to heavy rain on Thursday, the Karakoram Highway was blocked at Nasirabad due to landslides and the traffic between Hunza and Gilgit remained suspended on Friday.

Leader felicitated: The former president of Pakistan People’s Party, Hunza-Gojal, Ghulam Mohammad, has welcomed the appointment of Jafar Shah advocate as president of Northern Areas People’s Party.
