LLWC outclass Karachi United

KARACHI, June 20: Lyari Labour Welfare Centre (LLWC) and Haidery Baloch gained maximum points when they beat Karachi United and Nawab XI in KASB Premier football league matches on Friday.

LLWC led 2-1 but scored twice in the second half to overwhlem Karachi United 4-1 while Aftab Ahmad’s strike late in the second session proved match-winner for Haidery Baloch in their 1-0 victory over Nawab XI.

Shakir Lashari (9th minute) and Shafi M. Bhutto (21st minute) gave LLWC 2-0 lead. Arbab pulled one back in the 25th minute for Karachi White. Allah Bux (48th) and Zakir Lashari (58th) made sure of victory for LLWC.

In a match dominated by the defences Aftab’s opportunist goal in the 69th minute settled the issue of Haidery Baloch against a determined Nawab XI.
