HYDERABAD, Dec 14: The Sindh University, Jamshoro, has decided that the information about admissions, results, and examinations would be provided on the university website as a newsletter with information about the university activities would appear on Internet very soon.
This decision was taken at a meeting presided over by Mr Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, the vice chancellor of the university, in Jamshoro on Friday.
The meeting also decided to provide more efficient and effective Internet facility at the university Internet centre.
It discussed ways and means to ensure effective and speedy work in the administrative sections and also effective coordination among different administrative sections linking them through intercom system.
The meeting discussed the possibility of providing modern facilities to the teaching departments and the administration for speedy communication among them.
It also discussed the provision of more computers and accessories to the Internet centre which was providing Internet facility to the university students, teachers and research scholars at the rate of Rs5 per hour.
The meeting constituted a committee which will check the use of the computers in different departments and a computer expert from the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences would be authorized for the checking.
The meeting was attended by Prof Asif Ali Kazi, director, the IMCS, Dr Iqbal Ansari, convener of the university purchase committee, Mr Faiz Muhammad Hingoro and others.
RESULT: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, announced on Friday the results of BSc (Hons) part-I, part-II, Chemistry semester examination of 2000 held in 2001.
He also announced the results of BSc (Hons) part-III, Chemistry semester examination of 2000 held in 2001 and MSc previous Chemistry and MSc (pass) final Organic Chemistry semester exams of 2000 held in 2001.
