Ikhlaq advised week’s rest

KARACHI, June 19: Pakistan junior team full back Ikhlaq Ahmed has been advised a week’s rest after he was struck on the back of hand during training session at Pakistan Steel Township ground on Tuesday.

A spokesman of Pakistan junior team said on Thursday that X-ray showed no fracture in high right hand and he will be taking part in training session next week.

Ikhlaq of Pakistan Police received hand injury after a ball hit on the back of his hand during a penalty corner conversion.

Centre-forward Mahmood Ali, who suffered hairline fracture of left hand ring finger is also making steady recovery.—APP
