ISLAMABAD, June 18: Britain’s Chief of the Defence Staff General, Sir Michael Walker, arrived here on a two-day visit to discuss issues concerning world war against terrorism.

Gen Walker will meet Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and services chiefs. Before coming to Pakistan, Gen Walker had a meeting with President Pervez Musharraf in London.

During his visit, Gen Walker would discuss issues like development of bilateral defence relationship and regional situation.

He said Pakistan was a strategic partner against international terrorism and a vital contributor to UN peace-keeping operations worldwide.
