Cricket Centre, Greens triumph

LAHORE, June 17: Cricket Centre and Model Town Greens registered victories at their own grounds in the Javed-ur-Rehman cricket tournament the other day.

Cricket Centre defeated Universal Club by two wickets.

Batting first, Universal Club could muster 183 runs in the allotted 40 overs.

The winners achieved the target in the 36th over scoring 184 for eight.

A fine century by Waqas Ahmad 112 helped Model Town Greens to beat Victorious Club by 68 runs.
