KARACHI, June 17: An opportunist hat trick by Mohammed Ali powered Machine Tool Factory to a 4-2 victory over Pak Crescent in the DHA Malir Zone-IV hockey championship on Tuesday.

Ali struck with clinical efficiency in the 13th, 24th and 38th minute to complete his hat trick. Aziz scored the other goal.

In another matches Karachi Tiger Hockey Club overwhelmed Saudabad Recreation Club 5-1 with Mustufa (3) and Anwar (2) scoring the goals. Shahid netted the sole goal for the losers.

Centre forward Adil was on target twice to propel Al Faisal Hockey Club to a thumping 5-1 victory over Uttrulla Brothers. Zafar, Shahid and Siddique were the other goal getters. Mahmood grabbed the lone goal for Uttrulla Brothers.
