Six die in accident

SHEIKHUPURA, June 16: Six people were killed and 13 others injured in a head-on collision between a wagon and a coach near Nabipura on Lahore Road on Monday.

A wagon was on its way to Lahore when a speeding coach coming from the opposite side rammed into it. Four passengers died instantly, while two others succumbed to injuries in hospital. Thirteen people sustained injuries and were admitted to the DHQ Hospital.

Four of the dead were identified as Ali Hasan, Iqbal, Saeed Ahmad and Manzoor Husain.

The injured included Waseem Amin, Kashif Mansoor, Naseer, Mohammed Bukhsh, Binyamin, Shamshad Bibi, Mohammed Saddique, Mohammed Sharif, Khurshid, Allah Rakhi, Jalal Din and Manzoor.
