KARACHI, Nov 5: A large number of candidates could not be delivered admit cards in time for their SSC supplementary examinations, which start on Nov 6 in the city.

Sources in the board attributed the hardship to the private schools, which remained least interested in failure candidates.

A senior official at the Board said the schools had been asked to collect the admit cards, but they did not turn up adequately.

In view of the hardship to the students, the board had started issuing cards to individuals at its counters, but the process could not be completed as some outsiders interrupted the process, on Monday.

It was reported that till Monday, 2500 to 3000 admit cards were left undelivered. The BSE has announced that all those candidates who were unable to collect their admit cards to appear in English-II, science and general group, paper on Nov 6 could now appear on Nov 17.
