Convincing wins for top seeds

KARACHI, June 11: Topseed Bushra Haider and second seed Alia Sarfraz moved smoothly into the quarterfinal after recording straight set victories on the opening day of the the national women’s squash championship-2003” at Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Wednesday.

Bushra brushed aside the feeble challenge of Samina Ghafoor without dropping a game while Alia Sarfraz prevailed over Zeba Pervaiz in an emphatic fashion.

A total of eight matches were decided.

First round:
