Big turnout for clinic trials

HYDERABAD, June 10: Nearly 700 youngsters from different parts of Hyderabad district on Tuesday appeared on the first day of three days trials for selection in the Pepsi Coaching Clinic at Niaz Stadium.

A total of 24 cricketers with six reserved players would be picked up for coaching clinic from Sindh except Karachi.

The trials conducted by former Test cricketer Tasleem Arif with Saghir Abbas as his deputy would start from June 15 and will continue for 30 days. The selected players would get training of basic cricket for 20 days while in the next ten days, they would play practice matches, he added.
