Two slain in Gujrat

GUJRAT, June 9: Two persons were murdered on Monday in different incidents in the jurisdiction of Kunjah police station.

Raja Ishtiaq and Iftikhar were on their way home by a truck (Peshawar C-8118) when two men sprayed a volley of bullets on them near Kunjahari. As a result, Ishtiaq died instantly while Iftikhar sustained bullet injuries. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.

Kunjah police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, the Kunjah police also recovered a bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man from nearby fields of Dhudra village.
