KARACHI, June 9: A fire broke out at the wastage godown of Landhi Export Processing Zone on Monday night.
Fire fighters were struggling to extinguish the blaze till last reports came in. The cause of fire or extent of damage could not be determined immediately, a spokesman for the fire department said.
No harm to anyone was reported.
SNATCHED: Robbers intercepted a man, Mohammad Sibghatullah, in Joharabad and deprived him of his car (ADL-272), cash and documents at gunpoint.
The documents included his passport (H-531388), his wife’s passport (H-531399), their driving licenses and a file of his property. An FIR No.71/2003 was registered.
