Mercury Touches 48oC in Multan

MULTAN, June 8: Mercury once again shot up to 48 degrees Celsius here on Sunday.

On June 3, the maximum temperature had jumped to 48.5 degrees Celsius — the highest temperature so far.

The Met office predicts dry weather with chances of dust-raising winds in Multan and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.

On Sunday, humidity was recorded at 61 per cent at 8am and 11 per cent at 5pm.—APP
