CHARSADDA, Oct 27: Rich tribute was paid on Sunday to Mazdoor Kisan Party founding leaders, Afzal Bangash, Salar Mohammad Shah Ali and Inqilabi Gojar Khan for their efforts to protect rights of the working class.

A function to this effect was organised at Shakoor, Hashtnagar here chaired by Haji Mohammad Gul. Party leaders and workers in large numbers were in attendance.

Addressing the gathering the party central leader Salar Amjad Ali and Awami Workers Party central chairman Fanoos Gojar said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf came into power in the province through the slogan of ‘change’, but miserably failed to bring the promised change.

They said real change could be brought only by the working class as 98 per cent population consisted of poor and working people.

They said capitalism and feudalism were major hurdles to development of a democratic society, economy and culture.

The speakers paid rich tribute to the founding leaders of Mazdoor Kisatn Party for their efforts in creating awareness among the working class and farmers to protect their rights.

They said the leaders rendered every sacrifice, including suffering jail terms, but never compromised on their rights of the poor.

They vowed to continue mission of their great leaders and stand united against feudal lords to frustrate their nefarious designs.

The speakers demanded immediate transfer of SP Tangi for protecting interests of the landlords.

The participants also laid floral wreaths on the graves of the labour leaders and offered Fateha for the departed souls.
