Barrister Zafarullah Khan appointed Law Secretary

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved the appointment of Barrister Zafarullah Khan on Tuesday as the new secretary of Law and Justice.

The PM has also approved the appointment of Raza Khan, previously Law Secretary, as the special secretary law.

Zafarullah Khan is a former officer of the DMG of the Civil Service of Pakistan.

He served for 15 years as Assistant Commissioner and SDM and other posts in various provincial departments in Sindh and Punjab.

He was also instrumental in preparing a draft of the 18th Amendment from the PML-N's side.
