PESHAWAR, Oct 11: NWFP Information Minister Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani has advised the Afghan refugees to stay away from the anti-US drive being fuelled by the religious elements, otherwise they would be forcibly sent back to their country.
At a news conference on Thursday, the minister said that if the “fanatic elements” wanted to defend their Taliban friends in Kabul, they should go to Afghanistan and wage a Jihad there instead of setting public and private property on fire in Pakistan.
“Afghanistan is our brotherly country. We don’t want to see its destruction, but it depends on the Afghan leadership how it comes out of the crisis.” Pakistan had decided to support the world community in its efforts against terrorism as it was a requirement of the international situation, he added.
