CHITRAL, June 2: The Shandur festival would start from July 7 next and would continue for three days, officials of the district administration told Dawn here on Monday.
Polo matches between teams of Chitral and Gilgit will be prime events of the festival apart from a number of folk games. The event is likely to attract a good number of tourists to the venue as a large number of foreigners have registered this year for Chitral and Northern Areas.—Correspondent
