KARACHI, May 31: An early strike by Mohammad Ali helped Usmanabad Union earn full points after a 1-0 victory over Bhutta Mohammadan in the KASB Premier League at Usmanabad Stadium on Saturday.

Mohammad Ali gave his side the lead when he slammed home as early as in the sixth minute of the first half. It proved to be solitary goal of the match as both sides failed to score in the second half which saw four players being cautioned.

Shaukat Ghazi of Bhutta Mohammadan and Zahid of Usmanabad Union were shown yellow cards in the 7th and 12th minutes, while Mohammad Iqbal (Bhutta Mohammadan) and Mohammad Ali Jr (Usmanabad Union) received yellow in the 20th minute.

Sunday’s fixtures:

Baloch Mohammadan v Lyari Labour Welfare Centre at 5.00pm at CDGK ground; Aga Khan Gymkhana v Hyderi Baloch at 5.00pm at AKG ground.
