HYDERABAD, May 31: Nine councillors of union council-9, Hyderabad city, in a communication to the chairman, Sindh Local Government Commission, have complained that no meeting of the union council has been held for the last 15 months.

They said that the councillors had not been taken into confidence about utilization of funds and the affairs of the union council.

They asked the chairman of the commission to order an investigation into the working of the council.

Those who have signed the letter include minority councillor Harichand, labour councillor Imam Ali Shah, and general councillors Mohammad Sultan Khan, Mohammad Shahid Khan and Syed Mushtaq Ali Shah.
