SHIKARPUR, Sept 21: A woman, identified as Musammat Halima, was allegedly shot dead by her husband, Muhammad Khan Shar, in Tillan Shar village, Shikarpur district, within the jurisdiction of the Mian Sahib police station on Saturday.
Police said that the killing took place on the pretext of karo-kari. The husband fled after the incident.
However, no case was registered till Saturday evening.
