MANSEHRA, May 31: The Distributors Association of Hazara in view of forthcoming federal budget has convened a meeting for June 8, for chalking out a strategy to safeguard the interests of distributors and the public at large.

This was stated by Sheraz Mahmood Quraishi, president of the association, while speaking to newsmen here on Saturday.

He said many issues relating to the grievances of consumers and the problems being faced by the distributors would be discussed at the meeting in detail.

It was an irony that every budget multiplied the miseries of consumers, he said and added that even artificial shortage of commodities before the presentation of budget was created to fleece the people.

He urged the government to take steps for providing relief to the common man in the upcoming budget. — Correspondent
