PESHAWAR, May 27: The NWFP government has issued transfer and posting orders of senior police officers.

A press release issued by the provincial information department said on Tuesday said that Mohammad Habibur Rehman (PSP BS-20) on arrival from the federal government had been posted as deputy inspector general of police, Dera Ismail Khan, in place of Abid Saeed (PSP BS-20).

Abid Saeed and Capt Arif Nawaz (PSP BS-19), superintendent of police of the Joint Investigation Team (Special Branch), Peshawar, had been asked to report to Establishment and Administration (E&A) Department. While, Farooq Azam (PSP BS-19), OSD, E&A Department, had been posted as AIG (Logistic), Peshawar. Capt Ihsan Tufail (PSP BS-18) on arrival from Kosovo had been posted as district police officer in Mansehra in place of S. Ahsan Mehboob (PSP BS-19), who had been transferred and posted as DPO in Abbottabad.

Salahuddin (PSP BS-18) OSD, E&A Department, had been posted as AIG of Crime Investigation Department, NWFP, in his own pay and scale, in place of Abdul Majeed Khan Marwat (PSP BS-19), who had been asked to report to E&A Department.

Mohammad Idrees Khan (Provincial Police BS-18), district police officer in Hangu, had been transferred and posted as SSP (Investigation Branch) CPO, Peshawar, in his own pay and scale, who would be replaced by Ghaniur Rehman (PSP BS-18) SP (Survey) Special Branch, Peshawar.

Furthermore, Mohammad Fahim Wazir (DMG BS-18), district coordination officer in Batagram, had been asked to report to E&A Department, and Sher Bahadur Khan (PCS BS-18), district officer (Revenue and Estate), Kohistan, had been transferred and posted in his place as district coordination officer, Batagram.

Fakhruz Zaman (Accounts Group BS-18), financial analysts in Local Government and Rural Development Department, had been asked to report to E&A Department, who would be replaced by Mohammad Yameen Khan (Postal Service BS-18), OSD, E&A Department.
