Taha grabs winner

KARACHI, May 26: Taha Alizai’s second half match-winner gave Karachi United a 1-0 victory over Pakistan Petroleum in the opener of KASB Premier League under lights on Sunday.

After a barren first half, United broke the ice with midfielder Taha striking in the 65th minute to clinch the first win for his side in the 10-team tournament.

United came near scoring again but were thwarted by some fine goalkeeping by Pakistan Petroleum’s Gulzar Hussain.
