ISLAMABAD, May 26: Inzamamul Haq is Pakistan’s best-ranked batsman and Shoaib Akhter the best bowler under international seedings.

They are Pakistan’s only two cricketers named amongst the top-10 of each category in the seedings announced by “Wisden”, according to a report available here Monday.

Inzamamul Haq is placed 8th amongst the top-10 of the world’s batsmen while Shoaib Akhter occupies the same position amongst the bowlers.

Michael Vaughan has relinquished his title as the top-ranked batsman in Test cricket, following his failure during England’s innings victory over Zimbabwe at Lord’s.
